Strategy

At Learning Cultures we recognise that continuing professional development (CPD) to drive excellence and improvement in teaching and learning is at the heart of strategic planning.

We have designed a coaching framework that will support the development of a self-sustaining CPD model that does not wholly rely on external training and intervention.

Our model:

  • Guides senior professionals towards effective and realistic self assessment
  • Provides support, training and guidance that will help a manager to develop a sustainable model of Continuing Professional Development across the organisation
  • Offers a coaching programme that develops inspirational teachers who can help to support others to embrace change, cascade effective and best practice and encourage review and reflection
  • Helps with individual, peer and organisational evaluation of the impact of CPD and leads to planning the next steps and beyond

We have a range of tools to draw on to help senior managers ensure that CPD is at the heart of the strategic planning process, providing them with a vision for how CPD can be implemented to deliver excellence and improvement across the whole organisation or partnership.
