Creating a high achieving culture
This one day course is aimed at teachers and other practitioners who are delivering GCSEs, Diplomas and other vocational qualifications such as BTECs. It focuses on the skills learners need in order to achieve A* to C GCSE. We focus on teaching and learning and the pedagogy that underpins independent and higher level thinking that will help learners to progress and achieve their full potential.
We support teachers to develop a range of strategies that help them encourage learners to plan their learning, develop effective problem solving and research skills, build strong learning relationships, and learn how to answer questions or develop assessment material that will ensure higher than predicted grades at GCSE.
We have drawn together a team of experts in coaching, pedagogy and active and skills focused learning who really can make a difference to your practice and professional development. All our training and development events link into our SCOPE coaching programme which emphasises the need to focus on what has been learnt as a result of the training. We aim to ensure that planned inputs are related to the strategic aims and vision of the organisation and will result in action leading to a measurable impact on performance, change management or improvements in teaching and learning.
Who should attend?
