Creating the right whole school approach to ensuring that all teachers across the curriculum meet the new OFSTED framework for schools and help learners develop their literacy and numeracy skills in all subjects

Learning the concepts that underpin a sound understanding of mathematical principles is important for all learners. What is equally important is that those concepts are put into practice in a variety of contexts in all sorts of different tasks and situations. In this way learners develop mastery of the skills and can apply them adeptly and accurately to solve problems, analyse situations and draw conclusions. This event provides delegates with an opportunity to look at how maths is an integral part of the wider curriculum and that by understanding how it is taught across the curriculum can help to create a culture where all teachers are involved in ensuring that learners become confident at using numbers in all sorts of contexts.
