Our Managing Director is Glynis Frater an expert in education who has specialised in vocational and applied learning working closely with the 14 – 19 agenda, the wider 11 – 19 arena and the Learning and Skills sector. Following her tenure as the National Programme Director for the Subject Learning Coach programme and her leading role with the Diploma Support Programme she has been instrumental in designing and developing much of the focus and content for the framework for change that embodies the ethos behind the Learning Cultures framework.
Training and development are the life blood for any organisation aiming for excellence and improvement but in these difficult economic times it is essential that any opportunity for development is linked closely to the organisational strategy and is embedded across the organisation. Glynis has produced many high profile resources that embody a constructivist approach to ensuring learning is applied and learner centred. She has developed a range of training programmes and associated resources that provide a cost effective solution to ensuring excellence and improvement can be cascaded across a school, college or other educational establishment.
We have a team of educational experts who are well respected and who have led organisations towards improving performance and embedding excellence and improvement. We work with highly renowned teacher educators, dynamic leadership gurus, specialists in coaching, experienced and acclaimed trainers in applied learning, skills development and other subject specific areas. Our training programmes are rigorously quality assured and validated by educational professionals.
We use SCOPE to embed our own policy of continuous improvement and use many of the coaching techniques and training styles that have proved highly effective and that do make a significant difference.
